Ellwood Texas Forge Navasota, LLC Received Accreditation from the National Aerospace and Defense Accreditation program, also known as Nadcap
Ellwood Texas Forge Navasota (ETFN) received Nadcap accreditation for Heat Treatment and Aerospace Quality System (AC7004) in January 2016. Nadcap accreditation for Non-Destructive Testing was received in October 2016. 
Nadcap is recognized as the international quality assurance standard for Special Processes used in the aerospace and defense industries. Nadcap’s distinguished list of subscribers includes Airbus, Boeing, General Dynamics, General Electric, Lockheed Martin, Messier- Bugatti-Dowty and United Technologies to name a few. Suppliers desiring to perform special process for any subscriber in support of the aerospace or defense industries must obtain accreditation which is no small undertaking. ETFN obtained each accreditation after the initial audit (no further audits required) which is a testament to Ellwood’s commitment to quality and strength of management.

Ellwood Texas Forge Navasota is one of two closed die forging companies owned by the Ellwood Group Inc., headquartered in Ellwood City, PA. Located in southeast Texas along with its sister companies, Ellwood Texas Forge (Houston) and Ellwood Texas Forge and Machine, these facilities comprise the Ellwood Closed Die Group. In addition to the 16,000 ton screw press, a computer controlled 80 meter-ton counter blow hammer and a computer controlled 11,000 ton multi-ram hydraulic press form the core of the group’s forging capabilities which it uses along with conventional hammers, smaller hydraulic presses and mechanical presses to forge near net closed die forgings out of carbon, alloy, stainless, nickel and titanium. Each forge facility also has in-house die sinking, cutting, heat treatment, testing and machining capabilities. Both forging facilities possess AS9100C, ISO9001:2008 and Nadcap certifications. Ellwood Texas Forge and Machine primarily provides finish machining to the forge facilities.
